Fast, reliable and economic, that‘s NTB. These three letters stand for North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven GmbH & Co. A company that, since the founding in 1998 has been characterized by it‘s fast and successful growth. In only a few years, NTB has developed into one of the most important European container terminals with an annual turnover of more than 3 million TEU (20‘ units). The predictions say that this positive trend will continue.

This is made possible through the effective interplay/interface of highly qualified personnel and State-of-the-Art technology – 360 days a year and 24 hours a day.

Under the motto „Connecting the World“, the NTB Terminal with its over 700 employees, is as an important hub in northern Europe, connecting Bremerhaven worldwide with more than 130 ports.

New Container Througput Record

In year 2009 NTB has in total moved a number of 3,003,854 container units (TEU) over their quay wall. This represents an increase of 5.1%. NTB is happy it was able to handle two additional services from existing customers compared to last year. This facilitated the continued growth despite of the crisis.
